About Dan Ogurtsov

I'm Dan. I work across web3 and AI. In web3, that means audits, on-chain data, sometimes building DeFi projects myself, and the kind of technical problems that don't have a clean textbook answer. In AI, I build real products that automate intellectually demanding pipelines and orchestration, work out where the limits of that automation actually are, put the working parts into practice, and teach other people how to use them.

I came into tech from finance, private equity and corporate finance management. I also open-source AI tools when they're worth sharing.

I also build and manage teams, with an eye on keeping them effective and durable over the long run.

I travel a lot, and sometimes write here about books or other things on my mind.
